Denise passed away on July 6,2023, unexpectedly at her home in Battle Creek.  She was born January 28,1951 to Arthur E. Tobias and Helen G. (Babic) Tobias of Battle Creek.  Surviving is her daughter Kelley L Tobias of Battle Creek. Grandchildren include Victoria Tobias of Hollalnd, Andrea McNees of Arkansas, Carrie McNees,Alexis McNees, and Grabrella McNees of Battle Creek.  Great Grandchildren Annabell and Mason McNees of Battle Creek, her brother David (Tonya) Tobias of Battle Creek, and brother Terry D Tobias of Athens.  She was preceeded in death by her parents, brother Michael A. Tobias and sister Cherrie L Nichols.

Denise was a wonderful woman who loved her family very much and tried to help whenever she was able to.  She had a huge heart and a smile that would light up a room.  She was an avid pool player, loved to cook, play with her grandchildren, and spend time with and talking on the phone with her best friends Sandy Mears and Krista Brundidge.  Denise will be forever loved and missed by everyone who knew her.  A celebration of life was scheduled in August.
