Sandra Stafford Knife Trimner died at home on September 20, 2006.  Sandy worked at the Battle Creek Federal Credit Union for 36 years and was a supervisor the last 20 years.  She was the first president of the Leadership Counceil and received numerous awards for outstanding performance. 

Sandy married Kent W. Trimner on April 16, 2005 who survives.  Also surviving are daughter Amy (Adam) Knife Gould of Ann Arbor, stepson Steven K. Trimner of Battle Creek; brothers Ray (Delores)Stafford of Jacksonville, Florida, James (Kaye) Stafford of Battle Creek, Donald (Carol) Stafford of Indiana, Paul (Jerri) Stafford of Battle Creek, David (Sandra) Stafford of Battle Creek; sisters, Betty (Jerry) Motz of Athens, and Dorothy (Roger) Bell of Dorr.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Richland where she enjoyed helping with the annual Christimas pageant.  She also attended the Hickory Corners Weslyan church and First Wesleyan Church in Battle Creek at other times in her life.  She volunteered regularly as a literacy tutor and put together Christmas baskets every year for families in need.

Sandra enjoyed spending time with her family, travelling, and celebrating holidays, especially Christmas.

Internment is at the Hickory Corners Cemetery.
