Susan Marie Slack 71, formerly of Richland, now Portage, passed away on February 26, 2023   Sue was born on May 30, 1951 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Dudley Sr. and Elizabeth (Stasiak) Slack.  She grew up in the Richland area and graduated from Gull Lake High School in 1969.  Sue was a registered nurse at the Kalamazoo Psychiatric Hospital for many years.  She loved collecting angels, traveling, and watching old movies, especially anything with John Wayne.  Sue was known for her unique and sometimes messy greeting cards that were given to many family and friends.  She was preceeded in death by her parents and siblings: Dudley Slack Jr., Karen (Mike) Fleser, David Slack Sr., and Diane Slack.  Funeral services were held on March 3 at St Ann Catholic Church in Augusta and she was buried in Keeler Cemetery.
