Cathy passed away on June 16, 2025 at the age of 73. Married to Dick Marshall for 50 years, she had three children, nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She grew up on a 40 acre farm near Richland, the youngest of five children. She shared the same birthdate (but different year) with two of her siblings. Her obituary relates her love for chickens (who knew?) and her class of 1969 activities which included playing the Flute and as a cheerleader. She was also a member of the band, "Kathy and the Unknowns" which played at many of our high school dances. After high school she kept active playing soccer, softball, bowling, tennis, and golf. She enjoyed roller skating, bike rides, and camping. She had a green thumb and created beautiful flower gardens. She loved morel mushrooms and hunting for them. She was always up to finding something different and enjoyed trying new recipes that she would find in old cookbooks or magazines. Somehow during her busy and active life, she found time to watch her grandkids performances and games at the same time she was working as office manager of The Richland Home Center, the business she and Dick owned until they retired in 2017. Cathy lived a full and vibrant life and it is sad that illness took the quality from her last few years. https://joldersma-klein.com/obituaries-archive/cathryn-j-marshall/3159/#
