Richard Allen (Dik) Deary died October 3, 2018 at his home in Kincheloe, Michigan.  He attended Western Michigan University and earned Bachelor and Master Degrees.  He worked as a psychologist for various counties in Michigan before moving to Kincheloe to work for the State of Michigan Corrections Department.  He was a member of the New Hope Church and enjoyed outdoor activities including kayaking, sailboating, and motorcycling.  Hie is survived by his brother Daniel of Farmington Hills, Michigan.  He was preceded in death by his wife  Faith Ellen, whom he married in 1988, and his parents.  Burial was in Kinross Township Lakeview Cemetery.
