I had the biggest crush on Lee when I was around 12 years old. We lived in the country. He would deliver papers on his bike and I would watch for him to come down the road. I would follow ( try to) and talk to him but he never gave me the time of day. I told him about my crush at a one of the class reunions. I think it was the 25th or 30th reunion, and it became our little joke. Lee died from Heath issue, I believe in the fall of 2012. He married his sweetie Rosie he was with ( I think about 12 years) shortly before he died. He knew he had health issues and wanted to make sure she had his social security and benefits from Waste Management where he had worked for a long time. His funeral was one of the most touching funeral I have ever been to.
He and I were best friends throught school and then years later.
We would all hang out on the weekends especially during football season.Living down the street from each other His mom and dad seemed to always be calling our house to see if he was there for a Friday or Saturday night after crusing of BC main street :) and a beer or two lol.
We sure did created allot of good times together as we grew up ,He will be missed.
Lee and I use to meet at "the corner" of the back road and ride our bikes round trip total of 18 miles to the Kellogg school for band practice. It never seemed like that far as we always had lots of things to talk about. I don't remember how our families met but I feel like we always knew eachother. I did not know he had died. I really appreciate this site being put together so we can keep in better touch. Miss you Lee ....you were such a kind person. Love..a Casler kid
