Jim passed away on March 26,2021 in France where he lived for many years.  He had suffered ill health for the past three years and had several strokes and a fall which could have been brought on by an accident he had that severely injured his head according to his brother Bob.  He died of pneumonia that might have been linked to Covid-19.  He was on life support for three weeks before passing.  I had an email for Jim and sent him all the information regarding our reunion.  He did not respond, but it sounds like that may have been about the time of his accident.  As far as I have heard, his family no longer resides in the area, but is spread throughout the United States.  I have not heard that there will be a local memorial or if an obituary will be posted.  Jim was well liked by his classmates and I am sure all  have fond memories of him.  During the tour of the new GLHS at our 50th reunion, many classmates were thrilled to see his name and our class year on a couple of banners posted in the gymnasium.  Jim held a long standing track record for both GLHS and at the state level.
